We made tons of progress on the chicken coop today at Imani Garden. I don't think it's going to be ready to bring the chickens in tomorrow afternoon, but maybe I am wrong. Thanks so much to our great volunteer crew that keeps coming out day after day: Ben Silverman, Joshua Levine, and Justin (I have to find out his last name). Conrad, from across the street, came out to supervise and help out as well. And of course, the fabulous NYRP team taught me a couple more old building tricks to save time and energy.
What are you doing tomorrow? Play hooky and come help us finish the coop. It's going to be sunny and 70: ideal for some outdoor exercise!
