I love putting my chef skills to the test. What will I bake to win? Perhaps I'll try something new like a vegan pumpkin pie cookie. Quick recipe off the top of my head: grind up some walnuts and dates, add baked pumpkin to the mix, throw in some cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, & ground cloves, a pinch of salt, and what the heck...some chocolate chips. Bake at 350 until golden. Voila!

A better idea...I'm going to enlist the support of the youth farmers. It's always more fun to create and test recipes together. Without cooking with youth, I would never know the joys of scrambled pancakes or minty pickles.
