For many New York City children, handling chicken means grabbing a nugget and swiping it through a trail of barbecue sauce. But on Sunday young residents will have a chance to pick up chickens that have never been near a stove — and never will.The feathered and nonfeathered friends will meet at “Fun With Chickens!,” a workshop from the nonprofit New York Restoration Project, which reclaims city parks and gardens.
