We have enclosure for our little ladies to come home to tonight! The internet needs
smell-o-vision for this image: the plush, fresh straw is intoxicating. I had to be dragged out of the coop. I envisioned snuggling up to some chickens tonight and staring up at the (imagined) stars traveling across the sky.
The little ladies will stay indoors tonight, we still have some gaps in the run to fill with chicken wire. The stapling never seems to end. We have some playground equipment to build for the ladies as well: everyone needs a playground.
Thanks to the NYRP crew and all our volunteers! We need to have one more day to seal the wood siding and to clean up the site. We will be posting more photos online soon.
