We are now the proud mothers of 40 hens!
Our first batch of ladies arrived at the coop Monday night after a trip home from Worstboro. The other 22 ladies were put right on the roosts last night at about 2am. We have a mixture of Rhode Island Reds, Red Stars, Americanas, Black Australorps, Barred Rocks & Leghorns. What does that mean? Well it means we have some beutaful birds and white, light brown, dark brown, light pink, olive green and sky blue eggs. Egg count so far....(drumroll) 52!
