FOOD & FLOWERS

CSA
When you become a member of our Community Supported Agriculture, you’re purchasing a “share” of vegetables. From June until November, there are weekly pick-ups of farm-fresh products, harvested that day! Our organic produce, eggs, and flowers are better for you & better for the earth. Flower CSA shares for 2013 are still available!  Egg CSA is not available this year.

FARMER'S MARKETS
Our Farmers Market is currently closed for the season. We will open again in June, and will be at the Youth Farm every Wednesday. We accept cash, EBT, WIC, Health Bucks and Senior Checks Farmers Market Nutrition Programs.

HONEY
Bees are essential for pollinating plants in our public parks as well as increasing the production of fruits and vegetables on our urban farms. Our spring and fall honeys have delicious flavors you can only find in Crown Heights! Plus, eating a teaspoon of local honey a day can help with pesky allergies. Check back for more information in June and August when honey production is at its peak to find out where to get some of our local honey.
Our eggs taste so different from the eggs in the grocery store! When you buy our eggs, you are often getting them the same day they were laid. Each egg varies in color, shape, and size depending on the breed that laid the egg, so you can look forward to a colorful assortment each week.  Our eggs are sold to the Crown Heights / South Bed Stuy community primarily through an egg CSA.
